The Circulation and Reserves desk is located in the Atrium on Floor 1 of Bobst Library. There, users can:

  • Check out and return materials.

  • Summer 2025 Service Update: Pick up reserve materials at the Avery Fisher Center (AFC) on the 7th floor.

  • Pick up items on hold including EZBorrow and Interlibrary Loan (ILL).

  • Place items on the Day Shelf. The Day Shelf is a temporary holding location for book/s you would like to reuse or check out. Items can be placed and held at the Day Shelf for a 24 hour period. Items on loan can not be placed on the Day Shelf.

  • Pay fines, email lib-circulation@nyu.edu to schedule an appointment. Fines can be paid by check, campus cash, and credit card.

  • Get general in-person information about: using other libraries, access, library spaces, and library services.
