Expedited Delivery of Books Unavailable at NYU

EZBorrow will be merged into our Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service, and this webpage will be retired. See our FAQs for full details on this change.
The merge means:- A single place to request and keep track of resource sharing requests (aka non-NYU items).
- If an item's unavailable from EZBorrow we can process that request through other systems without needing you to forward us your unfilled EZBorrow emails.
- Fewer emails in general and less confusion about your requests.
EZBorrow is a service that allows NYU users to search the combined catalogs of more than 50 research and academic libraries, and request books not available at NYU. EZBorrow is the fastest way to get a book not available from NYU Libraries.
Who’s Eligible
NYU students, faculty and staff located in the continental United States and at NYU’s Abu Dhabi campus may use EZBorrow.
Turnaround Time
EZBorrow is a faster service than traditional Interlibrary Loan (ILL), and most requests will arrive in about a week.
Loan Periods
EZBorrow books are available to library users for 16 weeks, and cannot be renewed.
Requesting Other (Non-Book) Formats
This service is for hard copy book titles only. For all other formats, use Interlibrary Loan.
