Griffis, Eric
Manager, Application Architecture and Development
We develop custom applications, customizations, and integrations to support the Libraries’ central web presence, including its main website and central discovery platforms, while architecting the interoperation of the underlying software that makes it all possible.
We execute the web presence roadmap through the Web Interfaces Scrum, a collaboration of the Libraries’ UX, KARMS and ADRSS departments that maintains much of the Libraries’ central web presence. For example: we provide custom templating and functionality on library.nyu.edu for UX; we manage ILL customizations and authentication for ILL and room reservations for ADRSS; and we customize our catalog in collaboration with KARMS. We also collaborate closely with Systems and TPP teams in supporting the infrastructure underlying our software and with DLTS in supporting the Archival Collections search through Web Interfaces.
