NYU Printing Services have been experiencing difficulties with the cloud print portal. Documents printed using a web browser may not print or may have formatting issues.
For reliable printing service, use the available NYU Print Software at an NYU Print Service Location or download the software onto your own computer.
What You Need
To start printing, you’ll need:
- NYU login information (your NYU NetID and password)
- NYU ID Card
- Document file to be printed
- To be located at an NYU Print Service Location

- Double-sided
Printing using a Web Browser:
- Go to the NYU Print Center and log in with your NYU username (netID@nyu.edu) and password.

- Confirm that your document is in a supported format. Supported document formats include:

- Images
- Text (.csv, .vtf, .txt)
- Visio
- By default, printers on the New York campus print on 8.5” x 11” paper, double-sided, black and white in order to adhere to University sustainability goals. To change the default print settings:
- Before you click Submit to send your document, click Finishing Options.
- Select to print in color or monotone (black and white) and single or double-sided. The long edge is 8.5x11 and the short edge is 11x8.5 (sideways).
- For single-sided printing: select the dropdown arrow next to Duplex and choose Off
- For more detailed instructions, read about Finishing Options.
- Click Submit to send your document to the Print Service. Once submitted, each document stays in your NYU Print Service queue for up to 24 hours and won’t be printed until you’re at a NYU Print Service Location.
- To print at Bobst, visit LL2 and tap your NYU ID card at a printer to begin the process.
