Computer labs are closed for general computing, and are now being used as university classrooms.

Computers for General Research Needs


  • All floors of Bobst Library have Internet-connected computers; most are located in the Floor 1 Reference Center and the Floor 5 Research Commons.

  • Lower Levels 1 & 2 (LL1 & LL2), Floors 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 9 have additional productivity software on both Mac and PC computers.

For Specialized Digital Research

Adaptive Technology

The following software is available in Bobst and Dibner Libraries:

  • CCTV: video enlarger for books, journals, and other print materials

  • Zoomtext: enlargement/speech output for computer monitors

  • Kurzweil 3000: reads print aloud for users with print-related impairments

  • JAWS: converts text (on a computer monitor) to speech
