Adaptive Technology

For Moses Center registered users with the Adaptive Tech Labs as part of their accommodation package, the following software is available in Bobst and Dibner Libraries:

  • CCTV: video enlarger for books, journals, and other print materials

  • Zoomtext: enlargement/speech output for computer monitors

  • Kurzweil 1000: reads print aloud for users with print-related impairments. Only available at Bobst library.

  • Kurzweil 3000: reads print aloud for users with print-related impairments and is specifically designed for individuals with learning disabilities like dyslexia, dysgraphia, and other challenges that make reading and writing difficult.

  • JAWS: converts text (on a computer monitor) to speech
