Reservable individual sensory-friendly study pods are available in Bobst Library, on the south side of Lower Level 2 (LL2).

Pods are soundproof and good for any work or study that requires speaking out loud (language learning, interviews, etc.)

How Do I Reserve a Room?

All NYU students can reserve these pods for up to 3 hours per day.

Pods may be reserved up to 14 days in advance.

In the reservation system:

  1. Select your preferred date and start time.
  2. Adjust the reservation end time using the dropdown tool at the bottom of the page, below the availability grid.
  3. To submit your reservation you’ll be asked to log in with your NYU NetID.
  4. You will receive an email confirmation. If you have questions about Bobst reservations or need help, email bobst-access@nyu.edu.

Study Space Policies

  • Individual study spaces are a popular service. To help this work well for all students, please adhere to the following policies:

  • Pods cannot be reserved or held by placing personal belongings in them. Materials and personal items left unattended may be removed to make the space available to others. The library is not responsible for lost or stolen belongings. All lost inquiries should be directed to Campus Safety.

  • Bring your confirmation email with you. Students with a reservation always have priority over drop-in users.

  • There is a 10 minute grace period for reservations. If the reservation holder is not present within 10 minutes, the reservation is invalid.
