NYUGuest Visitor Wireless Access

Service Update: June 1, 2023 - New Guest WiFi Process

NYU has a new process for connecting to NYU Guest WiFi. This provides a more secure and reliable connection for University guests.

Guest and consortium members should visit the service desk on the first floor of Bobst for guest WiFi access.

If you connected to the nyuguest WiFi before June 1, 2023 your old credentials will no longer work. Please request your new credentials from your library visitor sponsor, e.g Friends of Bobst, Library Privileges.

Bobst Library

  • NYU has a guest WiFi network (nyuguest ) for visitors who do not have an active NYU NetID.
  • Credentials are individually assigned to each guest.
  • Your Library sponsor can request WiFi credentials on your behalf.
  • Bobst Library online resources are only accessible on the guest wireless when used within the Bobst Library building.

For the best experience, as well as added security, we suggest using one of NYU’s recommended browsers when accessing the wireless service.
