What does Facilities Operations do?

We are responsible for overseeing planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of DoL facilities and continuously improving the appearance, functionality, and safety of all DoL facilities. We ensure and improve the security for DoL physical collections, users, staff and facilities, as well as regularly consult with DoL staff on facilities issues in their units.

Maintenance and cleaning is carried out by NYU’s Facilities and Operations Management.

Who does Facilities Operations work with and for?

We liaise with NYU Facilities and Operations, Information Technology Services (ITS) and Campus Safety when troubleshooting issues within the community to guarantee the least amount of impact to our library users.

Client Service Center’s hours are Monday through Friday 6am to 10pm and Saturday to Sunday 8am to 8pm.
