Our team works to connect members of the NYU community who are engaged in the arts, performance, and the humanities with resources and research strategies that help them in their scholarly and creative pursuits. We build research collections in a wide variety of formats; assist library users through teaching, consultation, and outreach; and adopt collaborative approaches that help NYU scholars and artists build new intellectual and creative connections.

Collection Development

We select books, e-books, journals, databases, and other materials in accordance with the library’s (collection development policy)[https://library.nyu.edu/departments/collection-development/] which reflects the needs of the University’s teaching and research programs.
