Libraries Access Guide
Access to the NYU Libraries buildings and services is available for current NYU community members and members of NYU Libraries-Affiliated Programs. If you are a member of these groups, please use the tables below to determine your available services. Check our service pages for full information.
Many members of NYU Libraries-Affiliated Programs, except Cooper, New School, and New York School of Interior Design, must pre-register for access at least two business days in advance of their visit. We cannot accommodate walk-in visitors. Registration details are listed below.
We cannot provide access to the Libraries or services for groups not listed on this page.

* Note: Current Faculty includes NYU Grossman School of Medicine Faculty with an NYU purple ID card. Faculty Resource Network (FRN) does not have access to Consortium and Affiliated Libraries.

NYU Libraries Special Collections and U.S. & U.N. Document Collections are open to all researchers, regardless of affiliation. Accessibility Services are available for all of our users. Check our service pages for full information.
Pre-register for Access
Many members of NYU Libraries-Affiliated Programs, except Cooper Union, New School, and New York School of Interior Design, must pre-register for access at least two business days before your preferred visit dates. We cannot accommodate walk-in visitors. All other members of NYU Libraries-Affiliated Programs, except NYU Alumni, should fill out this pre-registration form.
