Group Viewing at the Avery Fisher Center
NYU faculty, teaching assistants, and PhD students can schedule group video screenings in Bobst Library’s Avery Fisher Center.
Screenings accommodate 5-18 students. Multiple viewings can be scheduled for larger classes.
Screenings can be scheduled to start 30 minutes after the Avery Fisher Center opens, and must end no later than 15 minutes before closing. See AFC’s hours.
Your video must be viewed from its beginning. Cueing and chapter search capabilities are not available for screenings.
Please note, the group viewing area is an open area of the Avery Fisher Center and is therefore not conducive for group discussion or classroom activities. Please notify your students that the video will begin promptly at the scheduled time.
NYU Libraries subscribes to many online audio and video collections which can be added to NYU Classes. View our Audio and Visual Collections.
Digital Campus, by Swank Motion Pictures, is a video streaming service that allows faculty and instructors to provide students enrolled in their courses online access to films assigned for course reserve viewing.
