E-Resources

The E-resources Unit is responsible for ensuring uninterrupted access to all licensed online resources for NYU Libraries users, as well as access to a curated set of Open Access resources

E-resource Acquisitions

We initiate orders and payments for new and existing e-resource products licensed by Collection Development in the University’s procurement system, and maintain the acquisitions records in the Libraries’ ILS.

Access to E-resources

We establish and maintain access to e-resources. We are responsible for managing the Libraries’ Databases A-Z list, and our e-journal holdings via the SFX knowledge base. We work closely with the Data Analysis and Integration Department in providing access to ebook packages.

Troubleshooting

We respond to reports of access problems from users and library staff by triaging issues and working with vendors and wider library colleagues to resolve complex problems.
