NYU alumni, neighborhood residents, and members of the public can gain access to the Elmer Holmes Bobst Library by joining Friends of Bobst Library.

You can join Friends of Bobst Library by making a 100% tax-deductible gift to NYU Libraries. Your donation will help the libraries expand collections, renovate reading rooms, add research workshops, and upgrade technology in order to provide every NYU student with the resources necessary for their academic success.

Sign up at the Library Privileges desk, located immediately to your left upon entering Bobst Library. Please bring a government issued photo ID. Neighborhood residents are required to show proof of residency to receive the discounted rate. (Library Privileges desk hours)
