The Mamdouha S. Bobst Gallery

Mamdouha S. Bobst Gallery

The beautiful Mamdouha S. Bobst Gallery opened on December 16, 2002 on the occasion of the celebration of the thirtieth anniversary of the opening of the Elmer Holmes Bobst Library and the kick-off of a first phase of modernization and upgrades in Bobst Library. The Gallery, located on the west side of the Library's first-floor atrium, enables New York University to exhibit rare and important items from its collections of fine art, rare books, and historical documents.

The exhibits often include treasures from the Fales Collection of books and manuscripts, the Grey Art Gallery's permanent collection of fine art, the Tamiment Library and Robert F. Wagner Labor Archives, as well as documents from the University Archives on NYU's history.
