Linking to Electronic Text, Images and Audio for Blackboard

Use either of these methods to create links to electronic resources from the Library's databases, electronic books and journals:

    4. The newer, shorter full text link URL is displayed. Copy the Full Text Link(s)' URL into E-Res.
      (Hint: You can also copy and paste bibliographic citation into ERes.)

    2. Mark article(s) you want to link to
    3. Click on "save/print/email records" button
    4. Click "print preview" button
    5. A new browser window will open with citation. The persistent URL is at the bottom of the display under "Full-Text Link".
    6. Copy and paste URL to Blackboard or ERes

    2. Click on "Linking options" on right side of page.
    3. Highlight URL listed under Open URL/Print ISSN
    4. Right click and "Copy Shortcut"
    5. Paste URL into ERes or Blackboard page.

    WilsonWeb databases include: Wilson OmniMega (Education Index, General Science Index, Humanities Index, Social Sciences Index, Wilson Business Index), Art Index, Reader's Guide, Library Literature, Index to Legal Periodicals, Essay and General Literature Index.

    1. Retrieve a full-text article, or mark a series of full-text articles from the Brief and/or Full Display data set
    2. Click Print Email Save
    3. Click Save Options
    4. Under Records, choose either article by number or marked articles
    5. Under Fields, choose "All, including full text and images, if available"
    6. Under Format, choose HTML
    7. Click Save. Another window will open with the citation followed by the full text. The link appears after the citation, but before the Full Text.
    8. Copy the Full Text Link(s)' URL Address into E-Res.
      (Hint: You can also copy and paste bibliographic citation into E-Res)
