    A microfiche set, ABEPI is a compilation of Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American biographical information from biographical sources published between 1600 and 1950. The arrangement is alphabetical by name of individual. The Indice biográfico de España, Portugal e Iberoamérica (Bobst REF 1 DP58.I52) is an index to the first series of the ABEPI. The index for the 2nd series is forthcoming. It provides the user with direct access to the bibliographical source either in the original book form or in the microfiche version, giving the fiche number and the number of the frame on which the entry is to be found.
