The project was sponsored by New York University and the National Historical Preservation Commission, about 25,000 items in all. The Papers of Margaret Sanger
Call no: Microfilm 3658Arrangement: The collection is divided into various subseries, including series on each of the birth control organizations associated with Sanger. These are presented in chronological order by the year of founding. Other parts of the collection include a Foreign File, a Conference File and a Speeches and Writings File.
Contents: This collection contains the diaries, correspondence, lectures, speeches and other printed materials from the papers of Margaret Sanger deposited at the Library of Congress. The materials are mainly concerned with Sanger's professional life and activities in birth control organizations. The papers cover the period 1900-1966 but the largest part is concentrated on the years 1928-40.
Access: The first reel contains an introduction and an index to the Papers. Each reel includes a table of contents for each part as well as a detailed table of contents for the reel, biographical information and a chronology.

Contents: This collection contains over 100,000 items from the papers of W.E.B. Du Bois in the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. The collection is mainly correspondence, but also includes speeches, published works (fiction and non-fiction), photographs, and memorabilia.

Contents: Public records from 1774-1775 chronicling the growing friction between the British government and colonial Massachusetts. Both sides of the conflict are represented: Royal correspondence, acts, proclamations, etc.; plus documents of the Provincial Congresses, town and court records, etc. Texts are reprinted with annotations and footnotes; over three thousand pages in all. Sex Research: Early Literature from Statistics to Erotica

Sexual behavior and attitudes II. Sex, law, and medicine III. Sex and literature IV. Sex and the humanities. Titles are arranged by main entry within each section.
Contents: Diverse works concerned with human sexuality from 1700- 1860, with a few 18th or 19th century editions of earlier titles. Medical, social, legal, and literary works are included. Most works are from Europe and America, mainly in English or French, with some art books from China and Japan. Filmed from the collection of the Alfred C. Kinsey Institute for Sex Research, around 1000 titles in all.

Slavery in Ante-Bellum Southern Industries

Contents: Company records, ledgers, and correspondence relating to the use of slaves in Southern industries and the change from slavery to free labor following the Civil War. The collection was compiled from the records of a number of companies and industrialists held by the libraries listed above. Items date from the late seventeenth to the early twentieth centuries, totalling around ten thousand microfilmed frames in all.
