Who We Are

Librarians from the NYU Washington Square and Mount Sinai-NYU Medical Center (including NYU Downtown and the Hospital for Joint Diseases) have collaborated to provide this centralized site to assist nursing students, practicing nurses, nursing educators and administrators in meeting many of their online information needs.

Based on the NYU Libraries Information Literacy Competencies, this expanded and more comprehensive site, from a beginner's guide to research through evidence-based nursing concepts, presents modules to facilitate locating, evaluating, and applying knowledge gained from searching the literature.
