BobCat can be searched for books and other materials in African Studies with a subject search (s=). Subject headings often follow the pattern:
s= Place name--Subdivision--[Time period].
Place names can be names of countries, regions, or cities. Please be aware of the fact that many sub-Saharan African place names have changed over time.
Examples:
