DIFFERENT PAPERS This volume was published using two different kinds of paper: the text was printed on poor quality, highly acidic paper and the plates were printed on stronger, more stable paper. At this point, it is difficult to reconcile the two parts to achieve a single, appropriate preservation treatment. Due to the severe embrittlement of the text portion, the complete volume will have to be microfilmed.
