ACID MIGRATION

Paper used for newsprint is highly acidic. A well-intentioned reader left a newspaper article in this book for others to read. Over time, the acid from the newsprint has migrated to the title page of the book and left and unsightly stain. Before this volume is returned to the shelf, the newspaper article will be removed.
