H. Austin Booth, known as Austin, has served as the Dean of the Division of Libraries since July, 2018.

Austin received her BAs in English and Economics from Cornell University and her MLIS from the University of California, Berkeley. She has an MA in English Language and Literature and a Graduate Certificate in Women’s Studies, both from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Austin is active in the Association of Research Libraries, currently serving on its Digital Scholarship Institute Advisory Group. In addition, she is a member of the Governance Board of ArchivesSpace. Her most recent scholarship has focused on evidence-based research in healthcare.
