Can I borrow videos and CDs from the Library for use in my classes? How can I schedule viewings in the Library for groups of students?
The Avery Fisher Center for Music and Media on the 2nd floor of Bobst Library provides previewing facilities for faculty. Faculty may also arrange for
group viewing
for up to 12 students in AFC. Videos and CDs may also be placed
on reserve
in AFC for individual viewing. Videos and CDs do not circulate; however, faculty may arrange for
special loans
of 24 hours for videos and one week for CDs. To make sure your video or CD is available, we suggest you contact the AFC at least one day in advance. -

Whom do I contact to arrange a tour (library instruction, etc.) for my class?
Contact Marybeth McCartin (x 82513), the Library's Head of Instructional Services for basic tours and general library instruction, or request an instruction session online.
For a tour of specialized library resources and services, contact the subject specialistsfor your academic area.
