What are my privileges at Columbia University libraries?
New York University and Columbia University have an agreement to share library resources through reciprocal on-site access. For more information, see Columbia Access Policy.

What sort of ID do I need to check books out?
You need one of the following: a NYU ID card with an embossed barcode; a current student or faculty photo ID card from a Consortium School; a current Friends of Bobst Library borrower card; or current borrowing card issued at Bobst Circulation.

What sort of ID is required for access to Bobst?
A valid university ID is required for NYU students, faculty and full-time staff; and students and faculty of New School University, Cooper Union, Hebrew Union College and New School of Interior Design. Researchers and scholars not affiliated with NYU should check visitor guidelines for access policies.
