Introduction This document is intended to provide helpful information to members of the NYU community who use copyrighted materials in educational and research activities. It is intended to provide a starting point for analysis and may need to be supplemented by other resources including consultation with Library or ITS staff or with a member of the Office of Legal Counsel. This information does not purport to establish policy on behalf of NYU or sanction specific uses of copyrighted material.
