The New BobCat Is Here!
NYU Libraries is pleased to introduce a brand new BobCat to the NYU community. With this new search and discovery tool, you will be able to:
- search books, articles and more from one search interface
- search several article databases at once via "quicksets" of history, psychology, and other sets of indexes
- get e-books and full text articles with one click
- save items in a personal e-Shelf or export them to RefWorks, EndNote, del.icio.us, etc.
- narrow your results by availability, subject, publication date, language, library, and genre
- display results in non-Roman scripts, e.g., Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic and Hebrew
- get suggestions for different searches or strategies if you don't find what you need
- use Google/Amazon-like features including: did you mean? (spell-check); find more like this; and book jackets
Development of the new BobCat will be an ongoing process; additional features will be phased in. We welcome your comments about the new BobCat! They will help us continue improving it to make your research more efficient.
